Since 1989, the Native Investment and Trade Association has been promoting Aboriginal self-reliance through training, education, and encouraging involvement in the business mainstream. Since its inception, NITA has been a primary supporter of the KARATE & EDUCATION SOCIETY since its goals and activities also promote NITA's important objectives.

The Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association (NAABA) is a non-profit organization that consists of a growing interest group of Aboriginal Businesses, committed to enhancing and creating an environment, which promotes businesses, jobs, and training for the betterment of all native people in the region. Our Association certifies that all Full Members are qualified by at least 51% Aboriginal ownership. NAABA and its members proudly support indigenous youth and educational initiatives such as the Shudokan Society.

ORCA
Orca Spirit is a wholly-owned corporation of Calvin Helin. It was the original vehicle for publishing Calvin’s book Dances with Dependency. The purpose of writing and publishing Dances with Dependency is simply to make the lives of ordinary Aboriginal people (particularly children and youth) better. A substantial portion of the profits from this publication will be donated to the Society. Now after all of Mr. Helin’s personal belief and persistence a California publisher picked up the book.


The vision of the Shudokan Aboriginal Karate Club is very much in keeping with the corporate philosophy of RCI Capital Group Inc. For this reason, we are pleased to offer our support. Well-known Aboriginal entrepreneur Dave Tuccaro has taken a leading role in supporting Aboriginal youth and education. Mikado Enterprises is Vancouver’s premier supplier of martial art equipment. Its owners have been long-time friends of Sensei Nomada and they have supported from day one the Society’s efforts to improve the lives of children through martial arts development and discipline.

NaiKun Energy Group
NaiKun Wind Energy Group is a Vancouver based company that is developing Canada's first offshore wind energy project in Hecate Strait between Haida Gwaii and the North Coast of British Columbia. The first phase (320 MW) of the 5-phase 1,750 MW proposal is currently under development for submission in BC Hydro's 2008 Clean Energy Call and is now in the pre-application phase of BC's environmental assessment (EA) process. When fully constructed the first phase of the offshore wind park will produce enough electricity to power 120,000 homes on the North Coast with clean, renewable energy.

NationTalk, a division of First Nation Tel, has announced that it is partnering with Orca Spirit Publishing to promote Shudokan and which assists impoverished children, inner city school kids, and adults in learning discipline, manners, a healthier lifestyle, and the importance of higher education through training in martial arts. NationTalk is a communications company that effectively distributes Aboriginal employment opportunities, tenders, press releases and other information to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal community stakeholders across Canada. Their ultimate goal is to bring more positive exposure to all Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal, organizations, businesses and government leaders that participate successfully within our communities and economy.
