Kelly MacDonald Kelly is Tshimshian/Haida and Scottish. She is from the Haida Eagle Clan Sah’git’nee. Kelly is a practising lawyer specializing in Aboriginal Child Welfare. She also sits as a member of the National Parole Board and is a Senior Adjudicator for Indian Residential Schools Canada.Kelly recently began karate with Sensei Nomada and has practised at his dojo and with the children at Grandview Elementary School.

Calvin Helin is Tsimshian; Lax Kw'alaams First Nation. He is of the clan of Ginaxangiik, and his family crest is Gisbudwaada (Killerwhale).
He has studied karate with Sensei Nomada since 1981 and is a third degree black belt. Mr. Helin is a lawyer, businessman, and writer.
